Our family and staff at Castle Ridge Funeral Home are committed to guiding and caring for families during times of great loss and sorrow. Therefore, we provide an outstanding grief and bereavement program to the families we serve.
We understand that grief is a natural response to loss. Losing someone you love is very painful. After a significant loss, you may experience a mix of emotions. While you may be overwhelmed or frightened by these emotions, take comfort in knowing they are normal and sometimes healthy. Accepting these feelings as part of the grieving process and allowing yourself to feel your loss is necessary for healing.
Everyone grieves differently. How you grieve can depend on such factors as: personality, faith, life experience and the extent of the relationship you shared with who you’ve lost. In any case, the grieving process takes time. It cannot be forced or hurried, and there is no normal timetable for full healing. Whatever your level of grief, it’s important to remain patient with yourself and allow the process to unfold naturally.
